Sad news, MBA-ers. Our plans to build a new small-batch brewery on the waterfront in uptown Saint John have been shelved. We are terribly disappointed, and we want to share with you what happened.

MOOSEHEAD ANNOUNCES LOCATION FOR NEW SMALL-BATCH BREWERY

In 2017, on the occasion of their 150th anniversary, the Oland family will open a new small-batch brewery in Saint John, New Brunswick. Moosehead will be building its new facility on Water Street, adjacent to Pugsley slip at the bottom of Princess Street, on Port of Saint John property.

When the last cases of Moosehead Pale Ale in its red packaging were rolling down the line, we reached out to superfan John Brown, and offered him a signed 12-pack for his collection. John says there’s zero chance that he’ll be opening the case.
